Joaquin Phoenix Returns as Joker in October

Oscar winning actor Joaquin Phoenix will return as the titular character along with Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ highly anticipated sequel Joker: Folie à Deux, which arrives in theaters October 4, 2024.

In 2019, Joker took the box office and award season by storm, earning more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office and 11 Academy Award nominations. Phoenix won for Best Actor in his role.

Not much is known about the sequel, but the poster can be seen below and a trailer is expected next Tuesday.
