Russell Crowe Stars in The Exorcism Coming June 7

Russell Crowe is returning to fight demons, but not in a sequel to The Pope’s Exorcist… yet. The Exorcism opens in theaters June 7, 2024.

According to Deadline, The Exorcism follows Anthony Miller (Crowe), a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter (Ryan Simpkins) wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play. The film was previously titled The Georgetown Project and is co-written and directed by Joshua John Miller.

Kevin Williamson also serves as producer on the film, which will begin streaming on Shudder later this year.
