John Carpenter Teases “Big News”
The master of horror stirred up tireless speculation this morning with a simple tweet that stated, “Big news awaits.”
As much as we’d love to see him return to the director’s chair, based on the fact that Sacred Bones Records was tagged in the mysterious message, we are assuming he will be releasing a fourth installment of his Lost Themes series of albums. Carpenter called Lost Themes “a soundtrack for movies in your mind” when he dropped the first album in 2015. Two more were released in 2016 and 2021.
Regardless what the news actually is, we are all waiting on pins, needles, and knives for the official announcement.
