Paranormal Activity Game Coming in 2026

Based on the highly successful Paranormal Activity film series from Blumhouse, DreadXP, DarkStone Digital, and Paramount Game Studios have announced a video game is in development and will launch on 2026.

Paranormal Activity: Found Footage will be developed by Brian Clarke, the creator of The Mortuary Assistant, and promises to be an interactive game featuring an advanced “haunt system,” which dynamically changes the intensity of each player interaction based on their actions.

More video games are looking to horror properties for ways to capitalize on an already established audience, especially after the success of Friday the 13th: The Game, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and the upcoming Killer Klowns from Outer Space. With seven films and more than $800 million box office earnings worldwide, plus the virtual reality game from 2017 The Lost Soul, the Paranormal Activity franchise seems like the perfect fit for today’s horror gamers.
