Dennis Quaid Starring in Happy Face Series for Paramount+

Zig Zag’s favorite actor, Dennis Quaid, has been tapped to star as a real-life serial killer in the upcoming Paramount+ series Happy Face.

Based on the book Shattered Silence by Melissa Moore with M. Bridget Cook and the podcast Happy Face hosted by Moore. Moore also lived the true story.Annaleigh Ashford (American Crime Story) will play Moore in the series.

The eight-episode series, expected in 2025, details Happy Face is an incarcerated serial killer who also is Melissa’s once-beloved father. After decades of no contact, he finally finds a way to force himself back into his daughter’s life. In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed. Throughout, she discovers the impact her father had on his victims’ families and must face a reckoning of her own identity.
