Trim Season Set to Debut in June

Trim Season, a horror film set at a marijuana farm directed by Ariel Vida, has been picked up by Blue Harbor Entertainment for a US release in theaters and VOD likely in June, according to Variety.

The synopsis states: Emma, jobless and searching for purpose, joins a group of twenty-somethings from Los Angeles and heads up the coast to make quick cash trimming marijuana on a secluded farm in Northern California. Cut off from the rest of the world, they soon realize that the estate is harboring darker secrets than any of them could imagine, and it becomes a race against time for Emma and her friends to escape the dense woods with their lives.

Bex Taylor-Klaus (Hell Fest, MTV’s Scream), Alex Essoe (Netflix’s Midnight Mass, Starry Eyes, Doctor Sleep), Bethleham Million (Sick), Jane Badler (V, Free Fall), Ally Ioannides (Synchronic), and Cory Hart (Fear the Walking Dead) star in the film.
