Welcome to Our NEW Website

Greetings, horror fans! We are Death Curse Society and we began five years ago as a simple YouTube podcast to discuss horror in all its forms. Over the years, we have grown into a well-established source for reviews, interviews, commentary, and more for the horror genre. This year is going to be big for us and we wanted to share that journey with you.

To celebrate the upcoming year, we wanted to do a complete redesign and upgrade of our website, to bring more functionality and information to you on a daily basis. We are glad to introduce you to our new site, which will include news, reviews, interviews, and more. Let’s take a look at what we have to offer now.

First off, we are going to start offering daily news updates about anything in the horror genre – trailer releases, casting announcements, production launches and more. We will be trying to expand our news section to include more independent features in the future but we are focusing on mainstream horror at launch. If you would like to send us a press release about an upcoming film, please visit our Contact page. In the news section, we have it broken down into movies, television, and DCS news – where we talk about our own upcoming events and guests on Monday Maniacs. Also, in the future, we will be including more news on video games and books, as we grow.

The next section of our new website is all about our podcast and the video content we produce for you, including:

• Monday Maniacs – our live, weekly, interactive podcast which includes interviews, in-depth film reviews, rankings, commentary, and more. You can watch Monday Maniacs every Monday at 8pm EST on YouTube, Facebook Live, and Twitch.
• Weekend Update – our newest feature which runs down all the recent horror news you want to know. Every Friday, Redcranke will report recent news on films, television, video games, and more. Weekend Update is released every Friday on YouTube, unless circumstances don’t allow for a release, such as being at a convention where recording and editing a video may not be possible.
• Interviews – we have been lucky enough to get to interview several of your favorite horror icons, past and present, and we include them here. We also travel to conventions all across the country and often record panels for your entertainment. Many of these are included here.
• Reviews – as mentioned above, when we review a film, we dive deep and all the hosts have their own opinions about every aspect of a movie. When we talk about movies, the discussion is always fun and debates often occur. We also love it when the audience interacts in the chat about the film and we highlight multiple comments and talk right back to you.
• Convention Visits – We go to a lot of horror conventions, such as Monster Mania, Days of the Dead, Morgue & Krypt Horror Fest, Texas Frightmare Weekend, HorrorHound, and more. We love to interact with fans and often produce a highlight reel for your enjoyment which will include celebrity interactions, cosplayers, vendor interviews, comedy skits, and more. If you see us at a convention, make sure to come and say hello.

As with many popular horror podcasts, we offer a membership program, similar to Patreon. We decided not to use Patreon, because of all the fees and hassle of dealing with a third party. We handle the entirety of our membership program in-house and cut out the middle man. Members can sign up for as little as $3 per month and be mentioned on every episode of Monday Maniacs. Higher-tier members also receive free, exclusive merchandise from us on a quarterly basis as well as opportunities to join us during a live broadcast occasionally. Curse Your Luck is our interactive, horror-trivia game show. We started producing this game show on our live broadcast in 2021 and have recently been taking it to conventions across the country. Our first live production was at Morgue & Krypt Horror Fest in Albuquerque, NM, in July 2023. We followed that up with two appearances at Monster Mania in Cherry Hill, NJ, and Oaks, PA, in the latter half of 2023. Next week, we will be in Atlanta for Days of the Dead where we will kick off the year with another live edition of Curse Your Luck. If you are in the area, come on out and play.

The calendar section of the website includes information on upcoming episodes of Monday Maniacs, theatrical and VOD film releases, conventions, and more. This is a comprehensive list you won’t find anywhere else so check out our calendar and let us know if we need to add anything to it.

Next, the Watch section of our page is another special feature you won’t find anywhere else. Here you can find links to multiple short horror films, fan films, and even features that can be seen free on YouTube, Vimeo, and other streaming platforms. We will continuously add to this database, offering the largest selection of horror in one location. You could spend hours enjoying lots of stories you may have missed. We are always looking for more films to add to our lists, so make sure to let us know if you’d like us to add anything.
