Ted Raimi Starring Failure Will Finally See Release in 2025
After its debut at FrightFest 2023, Failure, from director Alex Kahuam and starring Ted Raimi, gained a lot of traction and notoriety, mostly based on its unique filming style.
In the film, James (Raimi) has a big debt with the bank and is given one hour to choose between financial ruin or murder in order to protect his family. As the hour progresses he finds his home and phone invaded by multiple characters pulling him in different directions, gradually adding to his distress and his unravelling. But who is real and who isn’t?
What makes the film stand apart is that it was shot in one 87-minute take! No cuts. No reshoots. Just one solid shot. That’s enough to get our interest!
Variety reports the film will be released in early 2025 by Red Water Entertainment.
