M3GAN Gets Blumhouse Spinoff with SOULM8TE

After its box office success and upcoming sequel, M3GAN is also getting a spinoff from Blumhouse titled SOULM8TE, coming in 2026.

Written and directed by Kate Dolan (You Are Not My Mother), the new film is described as a 90s erotic thriller, according to Deadline. A man acquires an Artificially Intelligent android to cope with the loss of his recently deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, he inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate.

SOULM8TE drops in theaters January 2, 2026.
