Elle Fanning to Star in Predator Film Badlands

After the success of Prey on Hulu in 2022, writer/director Dan Trachtenberg and 20th Century Fox announced plans to expand the Predator universe earlier this year.

Now, Deadline reports that Elle Fanning is in negotiations to take a leading role in Badlands, a standalone film set in that world, with Trachtenberg directing a script he co-wrote with Patrick Aison.

No details or release plans have been solidified yet, but we expect to hear more in the near future. A direct sequel to Prey is also still in the works with Amber Midthunder potentially returning.
