Eggers Brothers Writing and Directing The Front Room for A24

The brothers of acclaimed filmmaker Robert Eggers, Max and Sam Eggers, are getting into the family business with A24’s The Front Room, coming September 6, 2024.

The film follows a young, newly pregnant couple forced to take in an ailing stepmother who has long been estranged from the family and will star Brandy Norwood (I Still Know What You Did Last Summer). Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap, and Neal Huff round out the cast.

Max and Sam Eggers also adapted the screenplay from a short story by Susan Hill.
