Caitlin Cronenberg’s Humane Coming to Theaters Then Shudder

Caitlin Cronenberg is joining the family business and will make her feature directorial debut with Humane, coming to theaters April 26, 2024, and then releasing exclusively on Shudder three months later. Variety first shared the news and a sneak peek from the film.

Starring Jay Baruchel (This is the End), Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), and Peter Gallagher (Grace and Frankie), the story follows a recently retired newsman who has invited his grown children to dinner to announce his intentions to enlist in the nation’s new euthanasia program. But when the father’s plan goes horribly awry, tensions flare and chaos erupts among his children.
