Ti West Says “Maybe” to Fourth X Movie After MaXXXine

Although MaXXXine could be a fitting conclusion to Ti West’s X trilogy, the director isn’t completely opposed to returning to Pearl’s world for a potential fourth film.

During an interview on What’s Under the Bed, West was directly asked if there was still more of this story to be told, to which he replied, “Maybe. I don’t know.”

“There is this one weird idea that I have that is kind of… if I explained it, it would make sense,” he further explains in the interview. “But we’ll see what happens. Let’s get this movie done first, see if people like it. Then we’ll go from there.”

MaXXXine is expected in theaters later this year, but West adds, “It’s coming along. I’m almost done editing it. So far, so good.”
