Robert Downey Jr. Producing A Head Full of Ghosts

From Iron Man to horror producer, Robert Downey Jr. is set to produce A Head Full of Ghosts, based on Paul Trmeblay’s 2015 novel, according to Variety.

The film will be written and directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala (The Lodge, Goodnight Mommy), who previously scored a deal with Shudder to release another horror movie, The Devil’s Bath later this year.

In the book, “the Barretts, whose normal suburban New England life is torn apart when their teenage daughter shows signs of acute schizophrenia, reluctantly agree to be the subjects of a reality show, “The Possession.” Some 15 years later, Merry faces her family’s haunting past when a journalist is assigned to help tell her side of the story and uncovers the very nature of evil.”
