Caveat Director to Debut Follow-Up Oddity at SXSW

Damian McCarthy made quite a splash in 2021 by writing and directing the Irish horror film Caveat, which appeared on one of our top 10 lists of the year. In March, he will debut his sophomore effort Oddity at South x Southwest with a wider release following soon after that. Bloody Disgusting has shared a first look at the film with a still featuring the creepiest mannequin ever.

If you remember Caveat and that creepy-ass bunny, this has that same vibe. In this new supernatural spectacle, a blind medium uncovers the truth behind her sister’s death with the help of a frightening wooden mannequin. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for this one.
