It’s Me, Billy: Chapter 2 Drops First Teaser

Although we still have quite a wait for the final film, Black Christmas fans have yet another reason to get in the holiday spirit. The first teaser trailer for It’s Me Billy Chapter 2 dropped on Tuesday and feels like it is going to be a perfect conclusion to the 50-year-old story.

Realized as the unofficial fan sequel to the original 1974 Bob Clark film, It’s Me Billy continues the story following Sam Bradford, the granddaughter of Olivia Hussey’s character Jess, as they once again find themselves caught up in Billy’s web of suspense. It’s Me Billy was released in 2021 and ended on a wonderful cliffhanger leaving fans anticipating a follow-up which creators Dave McRae and Bruce Dale have slated for release October 11, 2024.

Even though Hussey will not be returning for the role as originally announced, they seem to have cast an excellent doppelganger in her place with Lisa Kovak taking on the iconic character.

Jess is Alive! Hidden deep within the walls of Jess Bradford’s mansion lies the evidence that will exonerate her former boyfriend Peter Smythe and expose the real 1974 Bedford killers. Picking up immediately where chapter 1 ended, Sam and her grandmother, now trapped and alone, must fight back against the clutches of Christmas evil before they’re swallowed by its darkness.
