Glen Powell to Lead Cast of Edgar Wright’s Running Man

Edgar Wright’s reboot of The Running Man is slowly moving forward and has found its lead with Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters).

The reboot is said to be a closer representation of Stephen King’s book, written under his famed pseudonym Richard Bachman. The original film was released in 1987 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role of Ben Richards, who desperately participates in a violent reality game show chased by relentless killers sent to kill him.

Wright’s film was announced in 2021, so we are patiently waiting for more updates to this exciting project.
