Alien: Romulus Teaser Returns Franchise to Its Roots

In a film that is supposed to sandwich between two of the greatest sci-fi horror films in history, Alien: Romulus has a high bar to clear. We got our first glimpse into that world with the first teaser today.

Co-written and directed by Fede Alvarez, Alien: Romulus takes place between 1979’s Alien and Aliens from 1986 that will focus on a group of young people on a distant world. The synopsis states: While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.

Alien: Romulus arrives in theaters August 16, 2024.
