Michael Chaves to Direct Final Conjuring Movie

After The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, fans have been anticipating another sequel to expand The Conjuring Universe. Finally, The Hollywood Reporter says that Michael Chaves is set to direct what may be the final film in the flagship series.

Chaves was the director for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It in 2021 and also helmed The Nun II last year. The yet untitled film, written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, will feature the return of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorainne Warren.

Even though The Conjuring 4 may be the last time we see a film focusing on the Warrens, The Conjuring Universe will continue to expand as long as audiences keep filling the theaters every year. Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
